Online Learning at FRC
Important Information for Online and Hybrid Courses
Online Course Students: Check your FRC email for correspondence from your instructors during the week before the first day of classes.
Hybrid Course Students: If your course is delivered with 51% or more online content, check the course schedule for your first in-person/on-campus meeting day and time. Your instructor will provide additional details about the hybrid component of the course.
The online and hybrid courses at FRC provide flexible options for students to fulfill general education requirements. Students taking the suite of online and hybrid courses at FRC will develop the ability to express ideas clearly and critically across subjects like the sciences, humanities, and literature, while gaining an appreciation for the arts, and building their quantitative reasoning skills in mathematics and statistics.
Most importantly, our intent is that these courses foster a love for learning. By following a thoughtfully planned pathway, students can challenge their worldviews and broaden their experiences, ultimately preparing them to be educated, productive members of society.
