Student Responsibility
Instructors are responsible for teaching the course curriculum, not for troubleshooting your personal computer. It is the student’s responsibility to be technologically prepared for online courses. This includes being computer literate and experienced with the internet.

Since your course will be accessed through your computer and internet connection, it is important that you have the proper computer configuration. Below are the basic technical requirements for participating in an online course.

Canvas Browser Requirements
Canvas runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, or any other device with a modern web browser. Canvas is built using current web standards to ensure accessibility and compatibility.

Microsoft 365 for Students
All current FRC students are eligible to install Microsoft 365 for free on up to 5 personal devices, such as laptops, tablets, or smartphones.
Use your FRC email address to register at Microsoft 365 Education and follow the instructions sent to your frc.edu email.
