Bachelor's Degree Advancement
at Feather River College
Feather River College is now accepting students for our Bachelor’s Degrees in Equine & Ranch Management and Ecosystem Restoration & Applied Fire Management.
Information provided in the Bachelor's Degree Advancement form will be used to determine eligibility for the program. The form must be complete, and all official supporting documents must be received in order to begin taking upper division bachelor's degree coursework.
General Instructions:
- Complete the online Feather River College - General Admission Application.
- After following the general admissions process, please complete the Bachelor's Degree Advancement Form once you meet all of the minimum requirements below.
Current FRC or Transfer Student Requirements:
(All requirements below must be completed prior to submitting this form, no "in-progress" or incomplete coursework will be considered.)
- College level English and Math with a "C" or higher
- 30 CSU/UC transferable units
- 4 of the 7 Lower Division Major Course Requirements with a "C" or higher
- AGAB 110 Introduction to Agriculture Business
- AGAB 150 Agriculture Computer Applications
- AGAS 125 Animal Feeds and Nutrition
- AGAS 170 Elements of Beef Cattle Science
- AGEQ 102 Elements of Equine Science
- AGMA 160 Introduction to Mechanized Agriculture
- BUS 102 Financial Accounting
Current or Transfer Bachelor Degree Advancment
Requirements
- Submit all appropriate transcripts and AP score reports if applicable to: Admissions and Records, 570 Golden Eagle Avenue, Quincy, CA 95971. These documents must be official copies; the Bachelor's Degree Advancement Form will not be reviewed until official copies have been received. (not necessary for students with FRC records.)

- Complete the online Feather River College - General Admission Application. (When applying to FRC for the first time select A.S. in Environmental Studies. You will be advanced into the B.S. in Ecosystem Restoration and Applied Fire Management program after prerequisite requirements listed below are complete.)
- After following the general admissions process AND once you have met the prerequisites outlined below, please complete the Bachelor's Degree Advancement Form.
Current FRC or Transfer Student Prerequisite Requirements:

- College level English and Math with a "C" or higher
- Completion of 30 units of college course work
- Completion of 4 classes in the lower division Natural Resource Management and Ecology requirements section outline here.
- A GPA of 2.0 or higher
These requirements may be met with courses taken at FRC, at transfer institutions, or a combination of both. In addition, students may request equivalency for some technical skills courses due to professional experience. Please speak with a program advisor for more information on this process.
