Financial Aid Information
The California Dream Act Application allows undocumented students, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients (valid or expired), U Visa holders and students under Temporary Protected Status (TPS), who qualify for a non-resident exemption under Assembly Bill 540 (AB 540), Senate Bill 2000 (SB 2000) and Senate Bill 68 (SB 68), to receive certain types of financial aid such as: private scholarships funded through public universities, state administered financial aid, university grants, community college fee waivers, and Cal Grants. In addition, the California Dream Act, allows eligible students to pay in-state tuition at any public college in California.

AB 540 is a California law that allows certain nonresident student to pay in-state tuition at California public colleges and universities. The law exempts certain student from paying nonresident tuition and/or allows them to apply and recieve state aid at certin colleges.

SB1159
Professional licenses available to qualifed applicatns, regardless of immigration status, with an Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN)
AB2184
Immigrant Business Inclusion Act. You can apply for a local business license without a Social Security Number. You can use any of the following forms instead:
- California driver's license
- California identification number
- Individual taxpayer identification number ("ITIN")
- Municipal identification number
AB 1024
permits the State Supreme Court to admit, as an attorney, any applicant who has fulfilled all requirements for a law license regardless of immigration status

states no state and local resources are used to assist federal immigration enforcement and that schools, hospitals, and courthouses are safe spaces for everyone in our community
