Alejandra Martinez

Alejandra was born and raised in the central valley of California. Growing up, her education enabled her to find a love and passion for reading and writing, which guided her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in English literature from Sacramento State in 2018. With a professional background in both Human Resources and substitute teaching, Alejandra is passionate about increasing access to quality education for disadvantaged youth. Her unique lens to supporting students is rooted in values of equity, accountability, and community collaboration. She seeks to empower students across Plumas and Sierra County to pursue their college and career dreams.
