Daniel Smith, M.A.

I earned both my bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (with a minor in Health) and my master’s degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Chico. I love working with college students and helping them on their path towards pursuing a higher education. I feel absolutely honored to be a part of TRIO students' lives and look forward to coming to work each day. As a newer TRIO SSS academic advisor, I have enjoyed the opportunity to participate in TRIO events, help serve TRIO students, and build positive relationships with the staff and students of Feather River College. In Addition to TRIO advising, I teach Human Anatomy/ Physiology classes and Biology labs here on campus. When I am not working, I love to go hiking, biking, snowboarding, running, or gardening at home. I also enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, and seeing live music.
