Financial Assistance When You Need It
Feather River College is pleased to offer the Student Emergency Relief Fund to students experiencing economic hardships caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The Student Emergency Relief Fund will provide students up to $500 in hardship grant assistance to help with expenses (such as housing, technology, medical, and more) to support students' educational persistence and/or degree completion at FRC through the pandemic crisis.

Be sure to check if you qualify based on the qualifications below. Students may apply for the grant by completing the Student Emergency Relief Fund Application located at the top of this page.
Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Funds are limited and offered on a first-come, first served basis. The Student Emergency Relief Funding is not required to be repaid.
Grant Recipient Qualifications
The Student Emergency Relief Funding is available to current Feather River College students who meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Submitted the FAFSA, CADAA, or California College Promise Grant Application
- A California resident or AB540
- Enrolled at FRC in Fall 2020 (6 units or more)
- Impacted by COVID-19
Disbursement Of Funds
If selected, recipients will be notified by email the week of January 11th. Disbursements will run on January 14th and refund checks will be mailed on January 21st to the address on the application unless directed otherwise.
