What Exactly is the Plumas Pipeline?
The Plumas Pipeline was created to assist Plumas County residents to afford an education at Feather River College. No time is too early or late to begin the Plumas Pipeline and the best place to start is with contacting an advisor with any questions. The Plumas Pipeline was designed for Plumas County students who are first-time, full-time, or returning students who have not yet completed a degree. Students are offered the ability to begin while in high school to take full advantage of free tuition. College students are eligible to have tuition and fees covered for two years after completing high school, as long as they maintain all eligibility criteria. Here are some key details about the program:
- The Pipeline can begin in high school through co- or dual-enrollment
- It offers the ability for Plumas County students to get free community college through a variety of scholarships, grants, and programs
- Our goal is that Plumas County students obtain an associate’s degree with little to no out of pocket cost
