Financial Aid Workshops
Financial aid is offering free workshops to all students where they can receive free hands-on help to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA). Learn about Cal Grants, financial literacy including how to make informed decisions when it comes to spending and finances. Information on finding, apply for, and crafting a compelling, well-structured scholarship statement.
Join us for one of our free informative workshops, we have various dates and times available to suit just about anyone's schedule.

Upcoming Workshops
Who can attend the workshops?
- Open to all students needing assistance with their FAFSA or Dream Act Application or wanting to learn more about Financial Literacy, Scholarships, or Cal Grants
Why should a student attend these workshops?
- To receive assistance from qualified Financial Aid specialists and learn helpful skills and knowledge
Does the workshop cost money?
- All of the workshops are free
Do I need a parent with me?
- If you are a high school student, it is recommended to bring a parent or supporter for assistance.
How long does the workshop take?
- Each workshop is about 1 hour in length.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
- You will need your FSA ID and Password for the Financial Aid Application workshops, If you do not have one you will need to create one before the workshop.
- We recommend you bring a notepad or something to jot down notes for the other workshops
Do I have to attend the workshops in person, or is there a Zoom option?
- There is no Zoom option offered at the moment, but you can schedule a virtual appointment with a Financial Aid staff member at any time.
Feather River College is happy to offer assistance to both FRC students and students from our local community on filling out the FAFSA\Dream Act application. We know this can be a complicated task and we are here to make it easy for students.
