Friday Versatility Competition
The versatility competition went really well! Students took their horses through a course that included walking through the river, backing through barrells, pulling a log, roping a cow, working a cow on the fence, and more. After adding everyone's score, there was almost a 3 way tie! Jessi with Cat, Charissa with Tango tied for champion but Yvonne was just a hair below the high score. Great Job!

Thank you to everyone who helped with the Equine Studies Horse Sale . A lot of work went into the organization and preparation for this sale. Overall, everything went really well. Students had fun, 23 horses sold, and (in spite of a relatively poor horse market) the sale average was comparable to last year.
We would especially like to thank our students who worked so hard to prepare the horses for the sale, organized the bake sale, the barbeque, the Used Tack Sale. There are too many people to name but you all did a superb job! Numerous questions were answered and tears shed but almost everyone was happy with the results. So many people contributed and this sale never would have been successful without everyone working together. Thank you for your support!
