Last week we worked with Trout Unlimited and DFW to set up a "fishing hole" at the fair. The state provided the fish, the fair provided the pool, I took care of the fish and Trout Unlimited took care of the fishing. Here's a picture of our "fishing hole". It worked pretty well, but I've got all sorts of ideas for improving things next year. Below is a picture of some of the actual trout. It's remarkable how much easier they are to see in a swimming pool.
