Canvas: The FRC Online Course Environment

All online courses are delivered using the Canvas learning management system. If you're enrolled in a hybrid course, the online portion is also accessed on Canvas. In fact, all FRC courses have a Canvas course area that instructors and students might access! Some courses include material such as videos, links to external websites, or learning materials provided by text book publishers that students will be instructed to access through Canvas.

How do I get into Canvas?

It all begins with an FRC email account. When you enroll at FRC you receive an frc.edu email. Your Canvas login is the same username and password you use for your FRC email and for campus computers.  

The Help link in your Canvas course area is NOT for help with FRC email accounts or registration issues. The Canvas Help link is only for technical questions around your Canvas area. 

Ready to Login to Canvas?

You can access Canvas through the My FRC link on the homepage, or go directly to the FRC Canvas Website. There is an Online Student Resources page on the Canvas site to get you oriented to online learning with tips for navigating Canvas courses.  

Use your FRC email username and password to login. You will automatically be taken to your Canvas dashboard where you should see all your courses.  Hint: usernames are the first part of your FRC email address (before the @). Student passwords are the first initial+last 4 digits of the student ID+last initial, small letters
