The commencement ceremony was on May 24th, 2024 at Feather River College at 1:00pm at Brennan Stadium.
Feather River College will be posting all graduation photos FOR FREE on its Facebook page this year. This may take up to 2 business weeks to process and post. Once availalbe, you can also order prints directly, if desired, from Sierra Moon Photography.
Are you a student interested in decorating your graduation cap? Stop by the Mental Health & Wellness Center between May 13 - 24, where they will have decorations and supplies to adorn your graduation cap! Learn more about this event here.

The Feather River College Bookstore will be open on graduation day and will feature a bunch of great gifts for FRC grads, including some new apparel. Check the Bookstore website for hours of operation throughout graduation week and any specials or sales!

Graduation FAQ's
Congratulations - you are almost there!
Graduation is this Friday at 1pm on the football field. Please meet in the Athletic Field House area located at the lower end of the main parking lot at 12:30 and be ready to line up by 12:45pm, sharp. To make sure everyone can see, umbrellas will not be allowed for the graduates during the ceremony. If rain covering is needed, please get a poncho to wear over your gown. Also, keep in mind you will be walking through grass to get down to the stadium and walking on the football field. Please wear appropriate footwear to walk in uneven grass and to climb the stairs onto the stage. You may decorate your caps, have fun with it!
Rehearsal will be at 8:45 am Friday morning. If you are graduating with honors, you will be given your honor cords at rehearsal. All graduates will be given a card that states your name and degrees/certificates for Dr. Connell to read during the ceremony. At rehearsal, you have an opportunity to add a sentence to thank someone OR share your plans after graduation. One sentence will also be read by Dr. Lombardi. It is really important that you attend rehearsal to go over this information with Dr. Lombardi and participate in the walk-through.
This year's graduation ceremony will be live streamed through the FRC Facebook page.

You would have submitted a petition beforehand to graduate this semester.
Yes, please plan accordingly. We recommend dressing in layers and being prepared for any weather. If it does happen to rain, we will move ceremony indoors and will alert everyone as needed.
Yes, there is no guest limit.
Yes, as long as they are being continuously monitored by a responsible adult.
Yes, please feel free to.
Guests can park in any parking lot (see map above), including the main Permit Parking Lot. There is no fee or permit required for parking during the graduation ceremony.

The commencement should not exceed 90 minutes.
FRC is a drug and alcohol free campus. Dogs and weapons are also not allowed on campus.
Water bottles will be available throughout the ceremony.
Yes, but we ask that you please stay in designated areas.
Yes, they will be made available within a few weeks on the FRC Facebook page. They will not be available for immediate access on the day of the ceremony.
Yes, it will be marked off.
They will be mailed afterwards to the mailing address provided by graduates.
