Diversity

Diversity is crucial in assuring that we can understand each other in deeper ways that help keep us humble and open to the fact that the world does not only revolve around our beliefs. It can help develop us into better people, as it increases our understanding of human nature. The importance of diversity, equity, and inclusivity can benefit us in all aspects of our lives, including here at FRC.

California joins the nation in recognizing Inclusive Post-Secondary Education Day!

This is an opportunity to uplift the importance of inclusive higher education for college students with and without an intellectual disability. California colleges and universities offer 22 inclusive post-secondary programs. Students from all backgrounds enjoy academic and social benefits when taught together in inclusive classrooms, and students with intellectual disabilities who attend inclusive postsecondary education are more likely to have competitive, integrated jobs after college.
