FRC Smokin Willow, known as “Willow” around the barn is a three-year-old flashy sorrel tobiano AQHA/APHA mare standing at 14.3 hands. This big boned girl has both the statue and the presence to excel in a variety of disciplines that demand athleticism and heart for success. Willow is a people’s horse and a people please, and always tries her hardest every single day. She is the type of personality that excels with a job, and as her pedigree demonstrates, she hails from the working bloodlines of Doc Bar, Ill Be Smart, and Maxicali Rose.

A little bit about the student
Mackenzie Scout Todaro is a junior studying at Feather River College and is from Alameda CA. Scout is slotted to graduate with her Associates in Equine Studies, and Certificates in Forestry and Ecological Agriculture. In the future, she hopes to carve out a career for herself incorporating her passion and knowledge for land management and stewardship, agriculture, colt starting and photography. Scouts favorite memories are of the challenges and subsequent breakthroughs she’s made while working with young horses.
