“FRC Metallic Ginn" aka “Gin” is a 2022 bay AQHA gelding standing at 15.1hh. If you’re looking for a fun, quick learning, in your pocket gelding, then Gin is the boy for you! He is a gentle giant with more woah than go, though can extend into big strided smooth gaits. He is the grandson of Metallic Cat, the leading sire in both cutting and reining cow horse, who has won over $630k and his offspring have also been successful. Gin is an extremely trainable horse with his natural athletic ability responsiveness, poised mind and willingness to learn makes the possibilities for his future endless.

A little bit about the student
Kassidy Cecil is from Wilton, California. She came to FRC in the Spring of 2023 and will be graduating with an associates degree in Equine studies in the Spring of 2025. Kassidy has a passion for training horses and barrel racing and her future career goals include working for barrel trainers out in Texas and one day owning her own horse performance barn. Kassidy’s best memory here at FRC was participating in her first clinic and inspired her curiosity in Equine training.
