FRC Rowdy Holiday, “Doc” is a three-year-old AQHA bay gelding standing at 15 hands. He is by million-dollar sire, Rowdy Yankee which is presented within his natural athleticism and level-headed demeanor. Doc is a docile, level-headed, and willing gelding that has been ridden in and out of the arena. He has experience tracking and roping the heel-o-matic, is great for the farrier and vet, and demonstrates the ability to go in any direction. This horse is in your pocket and will follow you to the ends of the earth.

A little bit about the student
Walt Whitfield is from Portola California. He came to FRC in the fall of 2021 to play soccer and major in business. When he learned about FRC's equine program, he stayed an extra year to get the full FRC horse training experience. Walt graduated in 2023 with a business transfer degree and certificates ranging from economics to horse training, though is continuing his education and experience by participating in the FRC Sale Program. Walt's future career goal is to conduct international business in other countries. At FRC his favorite memory was getting to know the other international soccer players.
