ENROLLMENT REVISION DEADLINES

FALL SEMESTER - September 16, 2011 SPRING SEMESTER - February 10, 2012

You are only eligible for Pell Grant or Cal Grant funds covering classes you are attending and those you are registered for as of the enrollment revision deadline
If you drop classes early in the semester and you intend to replace those units you must finalize your enrollment for the semester before the enrollment revision deadline.
You can only receive the amount of Pell Grant or Cal Grant funds you are eligible for each semester - if you are taking classes that start later in the semester,
you are not eligible for Pell Grant or Cal Grant funds for those classes if you drop those classes before they started or if you forget to show up for the class

Awards for Pell Grant and/or Cal Grant (if awarded) reflect an amount based on 12 units or more. Units will be checked approximately 10 days before each disbursement date.

If you are enrolled/attending less than 12 units, your award amount will be adjusted. Please refer to the Financial Aid Enrollment Policy for details. If your file is not completed

and finalized 10 days before the disbursement date, an alternative disbursement date will be assigned.

*Disbursement of the CAL GRANT AWARD is contingent upon the passing of the California State Budget and upon receipt of the funds by the college.

Loan disbursement dates vary based on several factors:

When the loan request form is turned into the Financial Aid Office
When Entrance Counseling is completed online
When the Master Promissory Note (MPN) is completed online
When FRC completes processing of the loan and receives notification from the federal government that the student has completed the Entrance Counseling and the MPN
Loans for first-time borrowers cannot disburse until the student has been enrolled for 30 days in their first semester
Loans for a single semester is required to disburse in two parts, the second disbursement occurring after the half-way point of the semester
When you are enrolled in six or more units

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Disclosure Statement you receive from Direct Loans once we have originated your loan provides two dates that are NOT ACCURATE as to when you will receive your loan disbursement from FRC.
